prof.sun zhenglong received his b.eng. degree with specialization in
biomedical engineering from theschoolofelectricaland
electronics engineering, and m.eng. in mechatronic system and design from the
mechanical and aerospace engineeering, of nanyang technological university
(ntu) in 2005 and 2007 respectively. in 2008, he worked as a visiting scholar
at theengineeringresearchcenterfor computer-integrated surgical systems and technology (erc cisst), in thejohnshopkinsuniversity,baltimore,maryland,usa. after that, he continued to
pursue his ph.d. degree under the supervision of prof. phee soo jay,
louis, in ntu and successfully completed his defense in 2013. prior to
cuhk(sz), he was with thesutd-mitinternationaldesigncenter, at singapore
university of technology and design (sutd), as a research fellow. he
joined the chinese university ofhong kong,
shenzhen in 2017.

job duties includes
1. assisting in making budget plans and execute them efficiently,
purchasing lab equipment and supplies. keeping all associated receipts,
records, and documents for financial management and reimbursement. reporting
regularly to director about their finance situation of the research group, and
be familiar with related finance process and regulations;
2. assisting in laboratory recruitment including drafting enrollment
advertisements, screening resumes, organizing interview and other relevant
matters;
3. assisting in applying for scientific research projects, tracking and
supervising the project execution schedule and coordinating acceptance of
projects;
4. organizing regular meeting, reserving meeting room, managing office
supplies and lab assets and receiving visitors;
5. collecting and archiving the related achievements, information and
materials of the research group;
6. providing administrative service and coordination among
departments/units;
7. completing other tasks assigned by the director of the research group.
salary and fringe benefits
salary will be comparable to international standards, commensurate with
experience and accomplishments. appointments will be made under the
establishment of cuhk-shenzhen, and employee benefits will be provided
according to the relevant labor laws of mainlandchinaas well as cuhk-shenzhen
regulations.
